MY SON COMES HOME *
The true story of a hero, the father who loved him, and the cost of war.
Besides the motive for this book. That is to provide an answer to (I can not imagine). A statement I heard so many times. I hope to have people maybe have more voice when we decide to send the best and strongest military ever known to mankind to war. I also want to make the reader consider a few things. Like how wasteful it is to lose the best people we have in our country. Bryan was the most compassionate person I knew in my life. Always standing up for the underdog when needed. He loved life, and enjoyed life to its fullest. When I think of how many of our people in the military where lost and consider that they were much like Bryan. I get very sad and upset that it is so wasteful of good people, our best! The number lost in the war on terrorist exceeded the loss on 9-11. I have a hard time with it. One last thought. I still believe that the guys involved in setting off the IED that killed Team Tripwire that day would have known them, they wouldn’t have set it off. Ponder all this and see if you agree with me and enjoy a book that answers all the questions and maybe brings up even more questions. May God bless America. This book is dedicated to Team Tripwire. RIP Big Matt, Bryan, and Little Matt. That’s what they were referred to by the men and women who served with them.

About
The Author
I am an average American guy. Since I was 17. (An even 50 years ago). I joined the Fairfield fire department and soon after got hired by Emergycare in Erie Pa as a EMT. I went through all the fire department training and medical training over the years and advanced through the ranks and to become the Chief at FFD and a Paramedic and dispatcher at Emergycare, supervising both on the street and in the communications center. I worked with the best people on the face of the earth with both organizations. I learned a lot about people from being with them during the time they were under stress. That includes the people I worked along side of and the people that I served. It gives you a unique perspective on things. I am the father of two. Both children serving in the Airforce. My daughter’s husband is also serving in the Airforce. I was divorced and have been remarried and have a Stepdaughter and Stepson from that marriage. I have fore granddaughters and one grandson. I credit them with putting life back into me. I have been retired now for two years.
